I’ve discovered that no matter how large an animal’s grazing area is- they could be fenced in a hundred acres of lush grass- if I pick a handful of grass from outside of their fence and hold it out to them, about 80% of the time, the animal will come over to eat it. (The holdouts are beef cattle, who don’t seem to get much human interaction and regard me extremely suspiciously.)
